Boston, MA - February 2, 2006 --Strategy Analytics, the global research and consulting company, today released, "The Five Hottest Automotive Electronics Systems of 2010." This report from the Strategy Analytics Automotive Electronics Service identifies the hottest systems of 2010 for the automotive electronics industry, based on a "Hot Product Factor" (HPF) ranking.

For each of these factors, Strategy Analytics provides analysis of the HPF variation by geographic region and vehicle segment. In addition, the five least desirable systems are described.

"Lane Departure Warning Systems top the list for 2010," notes Ian Riches, Service Director for the Automotive Electronics Service. "Other high ranking HPF systems in the top five include Adaptive Front Lighting, and Blindspot Monitoring," he adds.

As for the least wanted systems, this analysis indicates that vendors heavily reliant on conventional keyless entry systems have the most to fear. These keyless entry systems are being replaced by passive entry systems, and by 2010, demand for the old systems will be starting to drop off.
