Strategy Analytics Welcomes Thomas K. Kang to Wireless Research Team
Valuable Industry Experience Expands AsiaPac Wireless Expertise
Boston, MA - 25 April 2008 - Strategy Analytics is pleased to announce the hiring of Thomas K. Kang as a Senior Analyst in the Global Wireless Practice will assume the position of Senior Analyst for the successful Wireless Device Strategies (WDS) Service.
"Thomas Kang brings a wealth of knowledge from his eight years of experience in the handset OEM community. His understanding across the broad number of issues in the handset value chain and the key imperatives driving vendor strategies makes him a valuable asset to both Strategy Analytics and our clientele, " said Chris Ambrosio, Executive Director of the Wireless Practice. Prior to joining Strategy Analytics, Mr. Kang spent eight years with LG Electronics in Strategic & Business Planning roles, with recent experience within the European Marketing Group in Seoul, Korea. At Strategy Analytics, he will work with the Wireless Device Strategies team in researching strategic industry and vendor-specific issues driving industry revenues, ASPs, and profits. Tom will also play a valuable role in expanding Strategy Analytics research efforts and analysis of the Asia-Pacific wireless markets.
