Photovoltaics Not Immune to Global Economics
GaAs Service Presents Latest Photovoltaics Analysis
Boston, MA - 16 March 2009 - Strategy Analytics analyst, Asif Anwar, will be presenting the latest Strategy Analytics photovoltaic market findings in Korea, at the International Solar/PV Technology Innovation Forum 2009 on March 19. Strategy Analytics will be discussing the technologies, trends and forecasts related to photovoltaics including how 2009 will impact this emerging sector.
Working in conjunction with Semicomm in South Korea, Strategy Analytics is co-producing a one day workshop that will coincide with the government-sponsored SWEET (Solar, Wind & Earth Energy Trade Fair; http://www.sweet.or.kr/eng ) 2009 slated for March 18 to 20, 2009 in Kwangju, Korea.
"The current global economics will translate to slower year-on-year growth in 2009, leading to industry consolidation and weaker companies failing," observes Asif Anwar at Strategy Analytics. "The net result of consolidation in the industry will be the emergence of a market that will be more streamlined from 2010 on, with the surviving players benefiting from economies of scale which will, in turn, push down the costs for end-users."
