T-Mobile Leads German Mobile Phone Portals
Ease of Locating Content Key Factor for Users
Boston, MA - May 11, 2009 – The Strategy Analytics Wireless Media Lab service research report, “German Mobile Portals: Ease of Locating Content Helps T-Mobile Maintain its Lead,” shows that in terms of usability and design, consumers in Germany prefer the mobile operator portal from T-Mobile over portal offerings from E-Plus, O2, Vodafone, and non-operators MSN and WEB.DE.
These findings are based on in-depth, one-on-one research sessions with participants in Köln, Germany.
“This Strategy Analytics research shows that consumers preferred the overall layout of the T-Mobile portal over its competitors, particularly when locating content,” commented Chris Schreiner, Senior User Experience Analyst at Strategy Analytics. “A simple menu with clear icons and labels allowed users to find games, music, and video with ease.”
