Director | Christopher Taylor RF & Wireless Components
Christopher Taylor, Director, RF & Wireless Components, is responsible for managing radio frequency (RFWC) and wireless component activities within the Strategic Technologies Practice. His experience includes 15 years in the semiconductor industry working for companies making digital, mixed-signal, and RF components for handsets, LANs and WLANs, computers, and other electronic systems.
Mr. Taylor's current research focuses on the market for front-end modules and emerging applications of RF CMOS.
Prior to this position, Mr. Taylor worked as a Product Marketing Manager at M/A-COM, where he defined, developed, and launched new integrated circuits for wireless systems. Previously, Mr. Taylor was marketing manager for Varian Semiconductor Equipment, and managed the sales and marketing activities of Applied Optronics, a semiconductor laser start-up. At BIS Mackintosh, a precursor to Strategy Analytics, he led the U.S. activities of the Gallium Arsenide and Compound Semiconductors IC Program.
Mr. Taylor holds an MS degree in Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management, an MS in Physics from Ohio State University, and a BS in Physics from Pennsylvania State University.
