Bonny Joy is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the AppOptix platform, Strategy Analytics’ foray in the consumer telemetry products and services space.
As platform chief, Mr. Joy leads the charge in developing telemetry applications across smartphones and tablets, managing consumer panels, and providing market insights through big data analytical tools.
He joined Strategy Analytics in 2006 as an Analyst in the wireless practice, providing market advisory services to major global Operator and OEM clients.
Prior to joining Strategy Analytics, Mr. Joy was a Senior Engineer at Samsung Electronics in their Korean and Indian operations. He was a core member of the UMTS software platform team that led to the launch of Samsung’s first 3G UMTS handset. Mr. Joy started his career with Microcon International. Ltd., a wireless product development company in Bangalore, India, where he was instrumental in implementing the Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) standards.
He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), India, and an MBA from the HULT International Business School, formerly the Arthur D. Little School of Management. |
