Woody Oh, Director for Handset Country Share Tracker (HCST) service at Strategy Analytics, is responsible for delivering in-depth commercial and technical analysis, guidance and predictions on the global handset industry to mobile operators, handset OEMs, chipset makers, investment banks, software vendors and media firms across the world.

Prior to joining Strategy Analytics, Woody had built up diverse experience at three firms. He worked as a system engineer for Base Station and Mobile Switching Centers at Lucent Technologies and was in charge of local operators such as SK Telecom and KT. Woody subsequently worked at ST-Ericsson on Business Development for connectivity components (bluetooth, Wi-Fi, WiMax & NFC) and TD-SCDMA/TD-LTE for Samsung. Woody also spent some time as a sales manager at Irdeto promoting its security solutions to Samsung, LG, Pantech and local operators.

Woody has a degree in Radio Communications Engineering from Yonsei University in Korea, likes to read mystery novels, and spend most of his time with his energetic young daughter.
