Service Provider Analysis, Wireless Networks and Platforms
Sue has over 20 years’ experience with Service Providers developing business cases for Mobile Broadband, Voice and Value Added IP services. Her current work focuses on matching new technology to business opportunities and includes business cases to optimize service provider Revenue and Total Cost of Operations (TCO) per GB with specific analyses of:- Software Defined Networking (SDN)
- Network Function Virtualization (NFV)
- Traffic Monitoring for Customer Experience Management (CEM)
- Diameter Signaling Evolution and Service Opportunities
- Small Cell Deployment for Capacity and Coverage
- Carrier Wi-Fi Roaming
- Self Organizing Networks (SON)
- Video Optimization
- Telco. Cloud Services
- Content Delivery Networks (CDNs).
Previously she worked for Comverse Technologies, Motorola, Data Resources and Bolt Beranek and Newman (BBN).
At Comverse she developed business cases for converged IP services, MMS and VoIP. At Motorola Cellular Infrastructure she managed Strategic Marketing, worked on IN service platform requirements and set up a new Network Management group. At Data Resources she built econometric models for Regulated Tariffs and provided witness support for the first AT&T divestiture She was at BBN when the first commercial Internet services were launched,
Sue has held multiple positions at software and networking startups selling to Internet, Telecommunications and Mobile Service Providers. She has an MA in Economics from Cambridge University and an MBA in Operations Management from the Wharton School.
